Concrete Tank Water-Supply System

Technologists, Inc. (Ti) built a military kandak accommodating approximately 800 personnel for the Afghan National Army at Pushtaysark in Parwan Province, Afghanistan.

Ti designed and built a headquarters building, administration building, barracks, dining facility, latrine building, laundry, classroom buildings, fuel storage and vehicle refuel point, and an ammunition supply point.

Based on local conditions, Ti installed a pressurized supply system that delivered potable water to a concrete tank. The facility was located on the side of a mountain, which made drilling difficult. Ti had to drill 220 meters deep to reach a reliable water supply, making this one of the deepest wells the company drilled in all of Afghanistan.
